I was Muhammad Usman Afzal that was so much busy in his comfort zone. His routines were Theory, You-tube, Procrastination even after having a lot of time he was struggling to complete assignments on time. He was busy doing nothing, achieving nothing, living like a dumb theoretical student that is forced to see his course books having no soft and professional skills and he used that time watching dramas, movies, serials, seasons yet he has attained a CGPA of 3.5 with a lot of struggle.

I awoke In Amal Fellowship

Life is only out of comfort zone live it fully and don’t forget to enjoy it.

He heard about Amal fellowship selected at his 3rd attempt. Firstly applied in second semester and was rejected because he was not eligible now he is busy in final exams of fifth semester and after 15 hours he will be in exam hall. Now he felt that positive work stress, will build him to achieve more.

If nothing works resilience can.

I am telling what he can do now you might take its converse and compare what usman lagged.

What differentiate human from other species? Human power of unlearning and learning for the betterment of his future self. ~usman thinks

Now, Usman Believes he can communicate effectively, lead without authority can do Time management (some lags are still here), always willing to give positive feedback, he came to know how to engage others, how to talk professionally, his journey with his Amal accountability partner is amazing how both tried to help each other in difficult times especially when Usman felt that he has lost his early rising habit and feel grateful and wish his accountability partner a life full of serial of success.

I took one step known as “Life long Learner”! had you?

This journey of 10 weeks of Amal Fellowship make him a different person. Now recently for a project that will be made official soon, he has built a team where 4 core members that are actually university fellows are leader with out authority. They nominate each other for a task by votes because of their strengths.

This is I am trying to follow

Usman now took responsibility for his decisions he believes he know that “How to make things happen?” by coming out of the comfort zone and helping others by positive attitude and energize them with positive energy he has. He believes that he has a purpose to live a lot to give and serve the humanity.

I was willing to learn Amal Fellowship engaged me in learning.

He learned a lot from his facilitators and Amal fellows, like responding with urgency from Mr. Ahmad and positive energy smiling and mirroring from Ms. Iman and Hira, long term planning from Ahmad and resilience from Salahuddin, controlling temperament from Anas , engaging others from Sajawal, praise others from Aiman and Ayesha, technalities from Ibrar, participation from Ali, Hajra, both Hamza, Awab and Sadiq, Professional speaking from Saleha. Effective communication from Hafiz Abdul Rehman, be chatty from Tauseef and be busy from Abeera, be calm from Taimur, expressions from Sabtain and be non-seriously active from Rutab. Humility from sessions and all learning from fellowship is worth remembering. Gratefulness from all fellows. This list can go long if I open my whatsapp group.

I am learning and implementing.

Now all the learnings, has helped him except finding a mentor, because I will find one I am making a list to reach out when my university open again but I have good advisors that are willing to help me, these are mentors for me but I haven’t given them this title because these all help me when I reach out to them without any cupidity.

Al-Hamd-u-Lilah! I am happy and enjoying my life.

Thank you for Reading pray for my Exam. Khuda Nigehbaan.
